Q. How often do you operate?
We operate 7 days a week. Departure times are at 1:00pm from both the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles areas.
Q. Can you leave at 8:00am?
No, we don't depart at 8am in order to avoid the morning commute congestion leaving the depature city.
Q. Can you leave at 10:00am?
No, we don't depart at 10am in order to avoid the evening commute traffic congestion at the destination city
Q. How long is the travel time?
It takes about 6.5 to 7 hours.
Q. How far ahead need to make the reservation?
48 Hours. (24 hours upon request )
Q. Discount on round trip?
No, we have a computer generated dynamic pricing.
Sooner you make a non-refundable reservation, better price you will get.

Q. Cancellation policy.
Your reservation is non-refundable. You may change the date with $10.00 handling charge.
There is no exception. Please make sure your date for the travel is a firm date.

Q. How long will the bus wait?
5 minutes.
Q. If I miss the bus, will there be a charge?
Yes.
Q. What type of payment do you take ?
Cash, Credit Card (VI, MC, Amex, Discover)
Q. Is there a discounted fare for children?
Infants up to 2 years old ride free; ages 3-6 pay half price; 7years and older pay full fare.
Q. Does the bus have a restroom?
Yes, buses are equipped with restrooms.
Q. Do you make any stops?
Yes. Half way about 200 miles there is a 15 minute rest stop.
Q. Do you have insurances?
All vehicles are insured by PUC approved insurance companies.PUC regulations require a minimum insurance coverage of 5 million dollars.
Q. Can handicapped passengers travel with their wheelchair?
Yes, but the wheelchairs must be foldable.
Q. Do you allow pets? (Dogs or Cats)
Yes as long as pets are transported in a pet carrying cage.
Q. Can I bring luggage?
Yes.
Q. Do I have to stay at the hotel where I am either departing from or being dropped off?
No.
Q. Do you make the hotel reservation?
No. CAShuttlebus does not contract with the hotel for room reservations so passengers must make hotel reservations themselves.
